How to Take a Screen Shot on the Galaxy Note 4The Galaxy Note 4 has one of the sharpest, most colorful screens on any smartphone. The 5.7-inch AMOLED display provides a detailed, 2560 x 1440 resolution and shows an impressive 163 percent of the sRGB color gamut. However, if you want to capture the images you see on-screen, whether it’s the appearance of a zombine in a mobile game or an image of a web page, you need to perform a screen capture Depending on whether you want to save the entire screen or just a piece of it, there are a couple of ways to take a screen shot on the Galaxy Note 4.

Capture the Whole Galaxy Note 4 Screen

As with other Samsung phones, holding down the power and home buttons simultaneously will cause the Galaxy Note 4 to take a screen shot. You need to be very precise about hitting both buttons at the same or else you’ll but the phone to sleep or send it home, instead of getting a screen capture.

Hit power and home buttons at precisely the same time
If you hit the buttons successfully, the borders of the screen will briefly flash white and make the same shutter sound the camera app makes when capturing photos.  You’ll also see a message and small thumbnail of your screen shot in the notification drawer.
